DESCRIPTION
The EDELRID Spoc is an ultra-light pulley with an integrated anti-reverse mechanism, designed to meet the most critical needs in alpine and glacial environments. With a pulley diameter of 20 mm, it accepts ropes with diameters between 7 and 11 mm, making it compatible with most technical mountaineering and rescue ropes.
Operation and versatility
The anti-reverse system allows for the construction of a hauling system for crevasse rescue or for lifting loads on a wall, automatically locking the load in the hauling direction. When the anti-reverse device is locked in the open position, the Spoc functions as a simple free-running pulley, suitable for setting up more complex recovery systems or for use in mixed configurations with other mechanical devices.
