DESCRIPTION
The CT Climbing Technology Tricky is a specialized quickdraw system, designed for clipping anchors that are difficult to reach with just an arm's length. The combination of the NIMBLE TRICKY carabiner, a 35 cm semi-rigid polyamide sling, and the FIXIT locking rubber creates a tool that solves one of the most common problems in crags: the first anchor being placed too high or in an awkward position from the starting point.
How the TRICKY system works
The heart of the system is the TRICKY LEVER mechanism, integrated directly into the carabiner body. This lever allows the carabiner gate to be opened remotely by simply applying pressure to the sling from below. This way, you can clip the rope to an anchor even when your arms can't reach it, without having to climb into unstable positions or rely on a partner for a boost.
