The CT Eclipse is a hybrid helmet with a rigid shell designed for those who tackle different technical disciplines with a single reliable tool: from rock climbing to mountaineering, from ice climbing to canyoning and via ferrata. Its versatility is not just marketing, but stems from precise construction choices.
Structure and protection
The hybrid structure combines an outer ABS shell with an inner EPS (high-density expanded polystyrene) liner: this double layer ensures effective protection not only from overhead impacts — such as falling rocks — but also from side impacts, a critical point for single-shell helmets. The hybrid construction guarantees superior robustness compared to pure in-mold models, while maintaining a compact and wearable profile.
Fit and ventilation
The adjustment system allows the shell to be adapted to different head circumferences without having to remove gloves, a useful feature in alpine conditions. The integrated air vents promote air circulation during demanding ascents, reducing overheating even in warmer seasons. The helmet is compatible with attaching headlamps and with the use of ski or ice goggles, making it suitable for winter use on glaciers or icefalls.
