DESCRIPTION
The Crazy Jacket Acceleration Light is a technical hybrid jacket designed for high-intensity hiking and fast & light excursions at altitude, where every gram counts and weather conditions can change rapidly. It is the flagship item of Crazy's summer line, built around two complementary technical materials.
Hybrid construction and materials
The front body integrates Polartec Alpha insulation, the unlined version: a precise choice that ensures exceptional breathability even under exertion, preventing overheating during demanding climbs. The outer fabric is Airtastic nylon, characterized by three fundamental qualities for mountain use:
- Extreme lightness, so it doesn't weigh down the backpack when the jacket is not worn
- Tear resistance, useful for passages on mixed and rocky terrain
- Elasticity in all directions, to follow movements without restrictions
The back and shoulders are constructed with a different solution than the front, completing the garment's hybrid logic: high thermal dispersion zones where the fabric is optimized for ventilation during the most intense efforts.
