The Contour Guide Mix is a 115 mm wide mixed mohair ski touring skin, designed for consistent ski mountaineers who demand reliability in all snow and temperature conditions. The mixed mohair—natural Angora goat fiber combined with synthetic nylon—offers a proven balance between glide on the descent and grip on the ascent, with superior wear resistance compared to pure mohair skins.
Adhesion System and Construction
The strength of the Guide Mix lies in its traditional hot-melt glue adhesion system: the glue is formulated to ensure solid and uniform adhesion to the ski base, even on cold or wet surfaces, and detaches cleanly without residue at the end of the outing. The 115 mm width makes it compatible with medium and large touring and freeride skis, ensuring effective coverage of the gliding surface.
