DESCRIPTION

The Castelli Perfetto Shoecover is born from the same design philosophy as the Perfetto line — including the Gabba jacket — where protection from the elements is never achieved at the expense of breathability. In practice, it is a shoecover capable of accompanying rides in variable conditions, from cold and damp to windy days, without overheating the foot during climbs.

Technology and materials

The construction uses GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ WINDSTOPPER® Stretch Light fabric, a membrane that effectively blocks wind and offers high resistance to water splashes from wet asphalt. The Stretch component ensures that the shoecover adapts precisely to the geometry of the cycling shoe, without creases that could create friction or reduce aerodynamics. The active breathability of the fabric prevents the accumulation of internal moisture, maintaining a stable microclimate around the foot during exertion.
