DESCRIPTION
The Castelli Nano Flex 3G Kneewarmers are technical kneewarmers designed for cyclists in variable conditions, when temperatures drop but full warm layers are still too much. The secret lies in the Nano Flex fabric, a solution that combines three properties in a single layer: thermal, breathable, and water-repellent. In dry conditions, it provides warmth without overheating; when humidity or light rain arrives, the surface repels water, preventing the classic sponge effect that cools the knee during descents.
Construction and fit
The construction is carefully designed to eliminate any friction or pressure points: single-stitch flat seams minimize bulk under trousers and prevent irritation even on long rides. They are held in place by a silicone elastic on both edges, which keeps the kneewarmer in position without constricting, regardless of the intensity of the effort or the position on the saddle.
When to use them
- Spring and autumn rides with temperatures between approximately 7°C and 14°C
- Stages with uncertain weather or overcast skies, where the climate can change quickly
- Uphill starts followed by long descents exposed to the wind
- Morning training sessions with lingering cold that tends to disappear during the day
Compact and lightweight, they fold easily into a jersey pocket when the temperature rises, without taking up valuable space.
