The Castelli Movement Travel Women's Short is designed for those who want to avoid changing clothes between a stop on the bike and a coffee in town: it combines the functionality of technical cycling shorts with the discreet aesthetics of casual shorts, all in one garment.
Construction and Materials
The outer shell is made of ultra-lightweight stretch woven taffeta, a fabric that slides almost invisibly over the chamois without adding perceived bulk or weight. The cut is mid-thigh length, a length designed to be appropriate even off the bike, without betraying its athletic use. The fit remains clean and free of the bulky effect typical of bib shorts worn with a separate overshort.
Chamois and Pockets
Inside, the New W Summer Travel chamois is integrated, specifically developed by Castelli to ensure cushioning and moisture management during medium-to-long summer rides, while maintaining a slim profile compatible with mixed bike/city use. For organization, the shorts feature two side pockets easily accessible even while riding and a rear zippered pocket, ideal for keys, debit cards, or documents during urban commutes or bike tours.
