DESCRIPTION
The CAMP Photon Express KS 18 cm is a sport climbing quickdraw designed to minimize both weight and clipping time, two crucial factors in onsight ascents on highly difficult routes.
Construction and technical data
The quickdraw features two high-strength aluminum alloy Photon carabiners, designed with a particularly wide gate opening that facilitates clipping even under strain or in awkward positions. The KS (Keylock System) eliminates the traditional hooked nose from both carabiners, replacing it with a smooth profile that prevents accidental snagging during placement and retrieval of gear. The upper carabiner has a straight gate for stable attachment to the quickdraw, while the lower one has a curved gate that naturally guides the rope during clipping. The sling length is 18 cm, a versatile size suitable for most sport climbing routes. Its low overall weight makes this quickdraw ideal for building a complete rack without overly burdening the harness.
