The CAMP Laser is a telescopic pole designed for those tackling long high-altitude routes with maximum attention to backpack weight. Its strong suit is its extreme lightness, achieved through precise and consistent construction choices, not simple compromises.
Construction and materials
The shaft is made of reduced-section aluminum, which lowers the overall weight without sacrificing the rigidity needed for progress on technical terrain. The straps feature a minimal design, free of superfluous padding, further contributing to the overall weight reduction. The basket, only 30 mm in diameter, is among the most compact in the CAMP range: an intentional size that reduces the material used and improves mobility on packed trails or rock, where a wide basket would only be a hindrance.
