The CAMP Dyon Express KS Mixte 18CM is a high-level sport climbing quickdraw that combines two carabiners with distinct functions: the Photon with a straight gate for attaching to anchors and the Dyon on the rope side, optimized for quick clipping even in stressful situations.
Technologies and construction
The Dyon carabiner stands out for two concrete technical solutions. The KeyWire closure is an ultra-thin wire gate that reduces bulk and lowers weight without compromising the smooth opening of the gate. The SphereLock nose adopts a spherical geometry that guides the rope in and reduces the risk of accidental gate opening due to impact, increasing safety in a fall. The curved double-ribbed construction of the body distributes loads along the longitudinal axis, improving structural strength for the same weight.
