DESCRIPTION
The Black Diamond Vision is the most robust helmet in the entire BD range, designed for those who don't want to compromise between protection and weight on the wall. Its structure synergistically combines three materials: an ABS outer shell, resistant to dents and abrasions, an EPP foam (expanded polypropylene) for multi-impact absorption, and an internal EPS foam insert for energy management in the event of a severe impact. The result is a helmet with a low weight of just 215 grams, exceptional for the level of protection offered.
Protection and Certifications
Compared to previous versions, the Vision introduces extended side and rear coverage, protecting areas of the head traditionally more exposed during rockfall or falls at the crag. The helmet meets the requirements of CE EN12492 (mountaineering) and UIAA 106 standards, two certifications that attest to its suitability for both sport climbing and mountaineering use.
