DESCRIPTION
The Black Diamond Camalot Z4 represents the evolution of single-stem cams, thanks to the introduction of its proprietary RigidFlex technology: the stem remains rigid during insertion into the crack to ensure precision and control during placement, but becomes flexible once you continue ascending, significantly reducing the risk of walking (cam movement) and ensuring stable anchoring even in irregular or oblique cracks.
Technology and Construction
The 0.75 size covers a crack range between 16.5 and 27.9 mm, making it one of the most versatile for small to medium crack climbing. The four aluminum alloy cams ensure reliable grip on granite, sandstone, and most crack rocks. The dual-trigger thumb pull simplifies operation even with cold or gloved fingers, while the compact stem design reduces overall weight while maintaining high structural strength.
