DESCRIPTION
The BEAL Rando 8MM Golden DRY is an 8mm rope designed for those who move in the mountains on mixed terrain: glacier crossings, exposed passages on snow and ice, alpine excursions, and ski mountaineering in environments where a lightweight emergency rope can make all the difference. It is not a sport climbing rope, but a safety tool to always carry with you at altitude.
Construction and treatment
The 8 mm diameter ensures an optimal compromise between strength and reduced bulk. The Golden DRY treatment applied to both the sheath and the core protects the fibers from water absorption, maintaining mechanical performance even in humid conditions, wet snow, or ice. An untreated rope can absorb up to 50% of its weight in water, increasing the load and reducing resistance: BEAL's DRY treatment eliminates this risk.

- High-visibility yellow color, recognizable even on snow and in low-light conditions
