The SCARPA Alien Man is a race ski mountaineering boot designed for those who compete or want to approach competitive racing without sacrificing a balanced performance/price ratio. Construction and compatibility
The boot is compatible with TLT bindings via the Optimized Touring Pivot system at -7mm, the reference standard in ski mountaineering competitions. This lowered pivot geometry improves pedaling efficiency on ascents, reducing muscle fatigue on prolonged climbs. The structure is designed to keep weight to a minimum without sacrificing the necessary stiffness for descents.
