Optimized Touring Point

To maximize uphill efficiency, some models with TLT bindings have the front tech attachment points moved further under the foot. This makes for a more natural stride and provides significant energy savings, especially on longer outings.

Note: The binding mounting position is different from standard TLT mounting instructions.

Mounting Instructions:
Boot center on ski center.

Mount the TLT heel piece in the standard mounting position.
To mount the TLT toe piece: move the toe piece backward from the standard position, towards the heel piece, by the "X" distance specified for each boot.

The indicated lengths are in millimeters and refer to the sole/shell length of the boot.

DESCRIPTION

The Scarpetta Estraibile BT by SCARPA is the original replacement liner compatible with the Alien 1.0 boot (code 12176-501), designed to restore or improve the fit performance of one of the lightest ski touring boots on the market.

Materials and fitting technology

The liner is made of thermoformable Intuition material, a high-density foam that, once heated, precisely molds to the anatomy of the foot. The result is a custom fit, free from pressure points, with a personalized fit impossible to achieve with standard liners. SCARPA recommends having the thermoforming done at certified SCARPA official network Thermoformers to guarantee the best possible result.

Thermal insulation and practicality for touring

High thermal insulation thanks to the intrinsic properties of Intuition foam, which retains heat even in intensely cold conditions
Removability to facilitate drying after outings and replacement in case of wear
Exclusive compatibility with Alien 1.0, to ensure correct integration with the shell and the original closure system

Replacing the inner liner with this original spare part is the most effective solution to extend the life of the boot, recover the fit precision lost over time, or adapt the liner to a foot with particular morphology.
