The SKI TRAB Mohair 90 Climbing Skin is a ski touring skin made from 100% mohair, a natural fiber that offers an optimal balance between glide on descents and grip on ascents. Compared to synthetic or mixed skins, pure mohair ensures a smoother glide on transformed and spring snow, proving particularly effective in wet snow conditions where friction resistance makes a difference.
Construction and Attachment System
The cut features a specific sidecut compatible with SKI TRAB Ortles 90 and Mistico skis, ensuring correct coverage of the gliding surface without interfering with the edges. The attachment relies on the traditional hot melt adhesive system, tried and tested and suitable for outings in varying conditions, combined with the SKI TRAB tip hook and active tail hook that keep the skin stable and aligned throughout the ascent.
