DESCRIPTION
The Atomic Skin 85/86 is a complete ski touring skin, custom-cut in a PreFit format to perfectly fit Atomic's Backland 85 and Backland 86 SL skis. The pre-shaped cut eliminates any need for trimming, making immediate attachment possible even in the field.
Materials and adhesion technology
The pile is made of a 70% mohair / 30% nylon blend: the mohair fiber ensures high glide when moving forward and effective grip when climbing, while the nylon increases abrasion resistance and extends the skin's lifespan. Adhesion to the ski base is provided by Hotmelt Glue, a thermoplastic formula that maintains stable grip over a wide temperature range, reducing the risk of detachment in intensely cold conditions or wet snow.
