DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Sirocco is one of the lightest helmets available on the market for climbing and mountaineering: weighing only 170 grams, you'll barely notice it on your head, even on the longest and most demanding outings.
Construction and Protection
The structure is made of EPP (expanded polypropylene) with a polycarbonate shell, a combination that ensures high impact resistance while keeping weight to an absolute minimum. The wrap-around design with a lowered shell over the occipital area extends protective coverage to the back of the head, an area often overlooked in ultra-light helmets. The CE EN 12492 certification confirms compliance with European standards for mountaineering helmets.
