The Salewa Mountain Trainer 2 Gore-Tex is a low-cut alpine approach shoe developed in Montebelluna, a historic district for Italian technical footwear. The 1.6 mm suede leather upper ensures robustness and good abrasion resistance, while the full protective rubber rand safeguards the most exposed areas during rock passages and more challenging approach sections.
Technology and Materials
The Gore-Tex membrane provides complete waterproofing and continuous breathability, keeping feet dry even in rainy conditions or on wet ground. The Vibram sole offers reliable grip on both compact trails and rocky surfaces, with a compound designed for the versatility of low to medium altitude alpine routes.
