DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA Wildfire NXT Gore-Tex® is an approach shoe designed for those who don't want to stop at base camp: its door-to-summit concept makes it suitable for tackling challenging trails, rock climbing sections, and reaching the summit without needing to change footwear. The Gore-Tex® membrane guarantees certified waterproofing and active breathability, essential for extended outings or variable weather conditions.
Construction and materials
The upper is made of Matryx®, a technical grid-structured fabric that integrates Kevlar® fibers for superior abrasion resistance compared to conventional nylon, while maintaining a low weight. The seamless construction—without external seams—eliminates friction points, reducing the risk of irritation even on intense trekking days. The oversized midsole increases the cushioning surface, resulting in less fatigue over long distances and uneven terrain.
Grip and precision on the ground
- Pomoca outsole with high-grip compound on wet and dry rock
