The La Sportiva Solution Comp Woman is a competition climbing shoe designed for those who climb indoors and demand uncompromising performance. A direct evolution of the iconic Solution, it was created to meet the specific needs of indoor competitions, where precision on small footholds and power on overhangs make the difference between sending and falling.

Construction and technology

The upper is made of synthetic microfiber, a choice that guarantees dimensional stability over time, preventing the stretching typical of natural leather—a concrete advantage in competitions, where the shoe must maintain an exact fit from warm-up to the final. The double Velcro closure system allows for quick adjustments between attempts. The Vibram XS Grip2 rubber sole ensures maximum grip on resin and artificial volumes, while the compound remains effective even at the high temperatures typical of crowded indoor gyms.

Geometry and athletic adaptation

  • The extended rubber toe cap increases front coverage, optimizing toe hooks on overhangs and competition roofs.
  • The tapered heel improves precision in heel hooks, adapting to female foot morphology with a snugger fit.
  • The asymmetrical and strongly downcambered shape concentrates power on the big toe, essential for explosive sequences on vertical and overhanging walls.
