The Castelli Perfetto RoS Glove is a thermal cycling glove designed to tackle adverse weather conditions while maintaining a precise fit and high handlebar sensitivity. The thermoformed single-seam construction eliminates material overlaps in pressure areas, minimizing friction and ensuring an anatomical fit that feels like a second skin.
Technology and Materials
The main fabric is GORE-TEX INFINIUM™, which offers total wind protection and water resistance in the light rain and damp conditions typical of spring and autumn rides. Despite its climatic performance, the glove maintains a reduced thickness that preserves tactile sensitivity on controls, from levers to brakes and electronic shifters. Thermoformed technology reduces internal seams to the bare minimum, a crucial detail on long rides where mechanical irritation accumulates.
When to use it
The Perfetto RoS Glove is designed for a temperature range between 7°C and 15°C, that range where a full winter glove is excessive but exposed hands or summer gloves are not enough. It is the ideal choice for spring morning rides, autumn gran fondos, and all conditions where wind and humidity are the primary variable. Touchscreen compatibility on the fingertips allows you to manage cycling computers and smartphones without having to remove the glove.
