DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Fixe is a fixed-sided pulley designed for those who need a reliable and quick-to-install tool for rescue situations or load deviation. Thanks to its fixed sides, the rope can be inserted directly from above without having to open or disassemble anything, reducing setup times even when working with gloves or in awkward positions.
Construction and Mechanical Performance
The core of the pulley is a sheave mounted on self-lubricating ball bearings, which ensure smooth rotation and high efficiency even with sustained loads, without requiring periodic maintenance. The fixed sides, in addition to simplifying installation, make the Fixe compatible with the main Petzl mechanical ascenders, allowing hoist or rescue systems to be built directly on the wall or vertically.
