DESCRIPTION
The Wild Country Friend 3.0 is the new generation of Wild Country's dual-axle cam devices, considered among the most advanced tools in any climber's rack.
The new generation cams are distinguished by a series of precise technical features:
- 13.75° cam angle for maximum holding power
- Hollow dual axle and milled lobes to minimize the risk of the Friend getting stuck
- Flow Cord with a seamless core-to-cover construction, ensuring smooth, snag-free extension
The range is enhanced with important new features: the 0.3 size is now available with a dual axle, while the size 4 integrates a symmetrical and preloaded lobe closure mechanism.
The most distinctive feature of the Wild Country Friend remains the combination of the thumbloop and the extendable sling: a solution that reduces the need for additional quickdraws, minimizes rope drag, and decreases the typical walking effect of the Friend.
