DESCRIPTION
The PETZL Micro Traxion is a high-performance progress capture pulley, designed for situations where weight and bulk cannot be compromised: crevasse rescue, hauling, self-rescue, and, if necessary, use as an emergency ascender. Weighing just 85 grams, it easily fits into any mountaineering pack without adding significant weight to the overall load.
Performance and versatility
The heart of the Micro Traxion is its 91% efficiency, achieved through ball bearings that minimize friction during rope glide. The progress capture cam features stainless steel teeth that ensure a secure grip on the rope, and can be locked in the open position to transform the device into a simple pulley, thus increasing its flexibility for use on a wall or during glacier travel.
