DESCRIPTION
The FIXE Manso is a single-arm adjustable dynamic lanyard, designed for self-belaying at the belay station during climbing. The ability to vary the length in real-time allows for precise positioning relative to the anchor, quickly adapting to different belay station geometries without having to re-clip or modify the system.
One-hand locking and management system
The adjustment mechanism is the technical core of the Manso: two independent aluminum alloy elements act on the rope separately, allowing the lanyard to be locked and unlocked with one hand and with minimal effort. This translates into a concrete advantage at the belay station, where one hand is often already busy managing the climbing rope or equipment.
Construction and dynamic behavior
- The dynamic rope construction absorbs part of the energy in case of an accidental fall at the belay station, reducing the load on the body and the anchor compared to a static webbing lanyard
- The single arm simplifies management compared to Y-lanyards, keeping the system compact and lightweight
- Compatible with ropes from 8 to 13 mm in diameter
- Product certified according to EN 358 standards for work positioning devices and EN 354 for lanyards
