DESCRIPTION
The CAMP X-Dream is a modular technical ice axe designed for those who engage in various disciplines without wanting to multiply their equipment. The interchangeable blade system allows the same tool to be adapted for pure ice, mixed climbing, technical mountaineering, and dry tooling, switching from one specialty to another simply by replacing the head.
Modular System and Certifications
The ice axe comes standard with the Omni blade, certified Type 2 CE, compatible with crampons and for use on vertical ice. The system includes four interchangeable blades — Omni, Ice, Hard Mixte, and Total Dry 2.0 — available separately, each optimized for specific use conditions. The head is available in a hammer version, useful for hammering pitons and for self-belaying maneuvers on mixed terrain.
