DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Griptape is an anti-slip adhesive tape designed to improve grip on the handles of mountaineering and ski touring ice axes. It is applied directly to the tool's shaft, increasing friction between the hand and the surface in cold, wet conditions or when wearing thick gloves.
Technical Features
The fine-grit abrasive material ensures a constant and reliable grip even when the handle is wet or icy. The tape is pre-cut or available in rolls to fit different handle sizes and geometries, including the contoured profiles of technical ice axes. The low-temperature resistant adhesive ensures the tape remains firmly in place during use at high altitudes, without lifting at the edges or slipping under grip pressure.
