DESCRIPTION
The Griprest Nomic is a wrist rest designed specifically for Petzl Nomic and Petzl Ergonomic ice axes, intended to improve control and reduce fatigue during prolonged use on ice and technical mixed terrain.
Construction and materials
It attaches directly to the ice axe's handle via a stable attachment system, and features a bi-material overmoulding that combines structural rigidity and surface grip. This construction ensures that the hand remains fully supported during pulls, better distributing forces and reducing pressure on the tendons. The support surface is wide and shaped to adapt to the hand's morphology when held in the working position.
Adjustment and compatibility
- Multi-position adjustment system to fit hands of various sizes
- Compatible with the use of bulky winter mountaineering gloves, without loss of control
- Serrated tip on the lower edge ensures non-slip and secure support even in icy conditions
