DESCRIPTION
Petzl ASAP'SORBER 20 cm is a compact energy absorber, designed for workers at height using an ASAP or ASAP LOCK mobile fall arrester. Connected to these devices, it forms a complete fall arrest system and allows working at a distance from the rope, protecting it during operational phases.
The core of the device is a tear-webbing lanyard which, in the event of a fall, progressively tears to reduce the impact force felt by the user. The system is approved for users up to 140 kg.
The webbing is housed in a durable fabric pouch that provides protection against abrasion and projections. The pouch is openable for easy periodic checks and is replaceable in case of premature wear: the replacement part is available separately with code L071EC01.
Thanks to its flexible webbing, the ASAP'SORBER also allows for optimal monitoring of the fall arrester during use.
The 20 cm version is particularly suitable for minimizing fall height. Petzl also offers the ASAP'SORBER 40 version, which is designed to free the work area from the rope.
