DESCRIPTION
The Karpos Lavaredo Wind Vest is an ultralight vest designed for trail running, cycling, or mountaineering enthusiasts who need always-available wind protection without sacrificing lightness. Weighing only 72 grams, it compacts into minimal space—a little more than a walnut—and can be slipped into any vest, backpack, or even running shorts pocket.
Technical construction
The front is made of 33 g/m2 windproof ripstop fabric, with a DWR water-repellent treatment without intentionally added PFAS, in line with the growing sustainability demands in technical apparel. This combination ensures an effective barrier against wind and decent splash resistance, keeping the weight to an absolute minimum. The back panel and sides are made of perforated fabric, which promotes body heat dispersion during intense efforts, preventing the overheating typical of fully waterproof vests.
When and how to use it
